Account and data deletion
This page explains how to delete your Lubdub account or ask us to remove specific categories of personal information. It supports our obligations under privacy laws and Google Play's requirement that users have a clear way to request account deletion.
Why this page exists
Google Play expects dating and social apps to provide an in-app or web-based path for users to delete their accounts and associated data, with an explanation of what happens after a request. This form sends your request to our team using the same details you used when you signed up, so we can confirm it is really you before we change or erase data.
Full account deletion
If you choose delete my entire account, we will use your submission to locate your profile and begin the closure process. Some information may be retained for a limited period where the law requires it (for example fraud prevention, tax, or dispute records), but we will not use it to run dating features for you after deletion is complete.
Processing time can vary; mention any deadline in the optional notes field. We may contact you on the phone number you provide if we need extra verification.
Deleting specific information only
You can instead ask us to remove or anonymise particular types of data (for example photos or profile fields) while keeping an account open. Select the relevant categories in the form. We will honour your request where it is technically possible and not overridden by a legal obligation to retain certain records.
Need help or cannot use the form?
You can also email lubdubdating@gmail.com from the address associated with your account (if any), with "Account or data deletion" in the subject line, and the same details: registered name, phone number, and what you want deleted.
